This page is maintained by Uttara Dream Projects to explain what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and your rights under the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable.
1. What we collect
When you submit a quote, contact, or order-tracking form, or interact with our AI chat, we collect: your name, email, phone, company, your enquiry text, the page you came from, basic device info, and any custom fields you provide.
2. Why we collect it (purpose)
Solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a commercial quote, fulfil an order, and (where you opted in) send relevant project updates. We do not sell your data.
3. Legal basis & consent
We rely on your explicit consent (collected via a checkbox before submission) and on legitimate business interest where we already have a customer relationship.
4. Retention
Lead and enquiry records: up to 24 months from last contact. Chat transcripts: up to 12 months. Contract / order records are kept as required by tax and commercial law.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Submit a request at /data-request. We respond within 30 days.
6. Sharing & sub-processors
We use trusted infrastructure providers (cloud hosting, email, and an AI provider for our chat). Your data is processed under written agreements that prohibit secondary use.
7. Security & breach
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to authorised staff. We will notify affected individuals and the relevant Data Protection Board within statutory deadlines if a breach occurs.
